  • Omega-3 supplements are important to increase the Omega-3 content in your diet and to achieve balance between pro- and anti-inflammatory components in your body. 

    In addition, Omega-3 is important for healthy development and growth. Growing scientific evidence shows that Omega-3 (EPA and DHA) are important for our cardiovascular health, cognitive performance, mood and behavior, and last but not least, fetus development.

    According to REGULATION (EC) No 1924/2006 & REGULATION (EU) No 432/2012: 

    EPA and DHA have 5 EU health claims:
    1.   EPA and DHA contributes to the normal function of the heart.
    2.   DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
    3.   DHA contributes to normal brain function.
    4.   DHA and EPA (2g daily) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood       triglyceride concentrations (max 5g EPA+DHA).
    5.   DHA and EPA (3g daily) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood     pressures (max 5g EPA+DHA).
