  • The products Zinzino uses follow the EU legislation, this means that the products are below the limit values, for example, copper, iron, arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, dioxins and PCB's.  Our products are analyzed regularly.

  • How regularly are the products analyzed for contaminants?
    Khyra Edwards

    Thank you for your enquiry!

Every batch of product is tested.

    Kind regards,

  • Hello Caroline,

Thank you for your message and apologies for the delayed reply.

Unfortunately there are not exact values that we can give you, but for further info you can have a look at the Fish Oil Standards document that can be found on the web shop under each BalanceOil (downloads).

    Kind regards,

    Tiina Customer Service
  • Is this because these values may be different for each batch?
    Khyra Edwards
  • Hi Khyra,

    Thank you for your message!

Our values are always below all the limits set by authorities in EU, USA and Australia, but yes, the values can and do vary between batches.

Different batches and different laboratories have different laboratory equipment, which is why precise values cannot be given.

    Kind regards,

    Tiina Customer Service
  • Hi all

Customer service in Australia replied with "BalanceOil contains mercury below 0,005 ppm", hope it is correct and it helps... I am aware that some practitioner brands have around 0,001 ppm. Regards

  • Hi Caroline,

    Thank you for your message!

This is correct, we have had a test report showing mercury at 0,005, but because values may differ, we cannot claim a specific value - only that we keep under the limit values.

    Kind regards,
    Tiina Customer Service
